A singer-songwriter whose songs are filled with a rollercoaster of emotions.
“That’s How I Knew” is out now
About Samantha Red
Growing up near the border of Mexico in a family full of musicians, Spanish and English influences pervade Samantha’s music. She writes about love, pain, death, mental health, and so much more. While some of her songs are about her own personal experiences, the majority of the time, they are about other people’s lives, viewing the situation from their perspective. She hopes to connect with people and be a voice for them through her music. This has led her to go on to win songwriting competitions, one in particular where she performed at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas. Since then, she recently moved to one of the most important cities in the world for music: Los Angeles.
“Ultimately, the goal with my songs is to connect with people and be a voice for them. I’d like to think of it as a healing process for myself and the listener.”
Music
Samantha’s songs are filled with those raw, emotional lyrics that make you feel seen. Her songs are about the ups and downs experienced in life—love, loneliness, relationships, self-love, and more. She’s excited to share her originals with you and only hopes that her songs wrap you up in love and comfort.
